Your Article Directory Submission Guidelines

The rules for submitting your articles to Directory Ireland are simple, but they must be followed!

  • All articles must be written in English. This is simply because I need to understand the article and be in a position to assess the quality of its content. Unfortunately we can at this time only do this if it is written in English.
  • You must use proper names. Our site allows for the use of pen names these rules also apply to them. The use of anything else, e.g. Tall Stranger or Great Dates or The Company Article Team is not allowed and these articles will be refused. Company names and brand names will not be accepted either. Do not use all capital letters. Do not use numbers anywhere in the names. Your mother did not name you or anyone else John23. These types of names do nothing to increase your online reputation or ours and will be removed.
  • The articles that you submit must be your own work - You may not submit articles written by other authors and the content must be unique. No re-branded articles allowed, you must be the sole copyright holder for each article you submit. Articles written by a ghost writer are perfectly acceptable as long as they are being used only by yourself.
  • Submit only one of each article. Multiple submissions may result in an your article not being accepted at all and may get your membership cancelled and all other articles removed.
  • By submitting your articles to DirectoryIreland.eu, you grant us the right to publish your articles - We may publish your article anywhere on our web site, blog, or syndicate through RSS. We may also change where it appears, including the category, at any time.
  • By submitting your articles to DirectoryIreland.eu, you grant others the right to publish your articles - Other Article website users have the right to publish your articles on their websites, in their newsletters or ezines, and more as long as the article is left in the original state. This includes the resource box which provides you credit as the author of the content.
  • Article content may not contain live links - You may include three links in your bio box. It is acceptable, however, to mention the URL's of helpful sites or your own website which if they are important/relevant to the content of the article.
  • No affiliate links! - The articles that you submit to DirectoryIreland.eu should not contain affiliate links or web addresses that include your affiliate information, in their content or anywhere else (that includes the title and the bio box). It is acceptable, however, to mention the domain of helpful sites or your own websites which redirects to the recommended affiliate product.
  • Submitting your articles to DirectoryIreland.eu does not entitle you to financial compensation of any kind - You will not receive compensation from DirectoryIreland.eu or the users of our directory or anyone else for articles you submit to us.
  • Submitting an article in no ways guarantees inclusion in our directory - We reserve the right to reject an article submission for any reason.
  • Articles must be spell checked and proof read for grammatical errors prior to submitting - Do not submit articles filled with spelling errors and bad grammar. We do monitor article submissions and we will either edit or reject (our choice) content that doesn't meet this requirement.
  • Titles and Names may not have all capital letters.
  • Articles or BIO BOXES will sometimes be edited if they do not meet the above guidelines or the following. Given the choice we sometimes prefer to make minor changes to an article rather than deleting. This would include but may not be limited to removing links from the content of the article or bio-box (having too many in the bio box, i.e. more than three, is also usually a deleting offence) or correcting glaring spelling errors in the article title and content. (Do people not check them before submission?) We understand that you have the copyright to these articles and they should not normally be changed. However, we do not intend to rewrite the articles, simply to correct obvious errors. Nor do we intend to publish junk so if your article is not up to our standard, correct it before submitting it. If you have a problem with having these changes made, do not submit articles to our site. FYI: We usually delete rather than correct.
  • Each article must contain five hundred words or more of proper content. Anything less is just an advertisement. We don't do advertisements ...unless we are paid.
  • We do not accept articles that consist solely or mostly of bullet points, with little other content.
  • It is the responsibility of each member to make him/herself familiar with these guidelines and keep up to date with the changes that are made in them from time to time.
  • Do not use a link that redirects to another site other than the one in the link. This includes site that shorten urls for you. It does you no good to have all your articles linking to their site instead of yours. And it does us no good to have hundreds of links from our site th theirs.
  • We do not want articles that link to online pharmacies of drug sellers of any kind. They will be deleted on sight without hesitation.
  • Do not submit multiple versions of the same article or articles produced by an article spinner.
  • Do not use and article submitter that automatically leaves a link to its originating website with your article. They will all be deleted.
  • Member names, Author names and Pen Names must all be normal names.

The rules are necessary for the smoothe running of urArticles.com. We recieve hundreds of articles submissions per day and when people do not cooperate it messes up our system and causes delays, which we can do without.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Gerry
